Gravimetric blenders are used for dosing and mixing of granulated plastic materials in the plastics processing industry. The percentages of each component are previously defined on the control panel, being continuously controlled by the microprocessor. A closed feedback loop ensures that the mixture proportions remain within strict tolerances even if there are variations in the apparent density of the materials.
